The 0.5% drop chance is intended behavior and not a bug.
0.5% = 1 chance in 200 of succeeding or 199 chances in 200 of failing so basically every time u could've gotten it which is a 39% chance to get every 100 kills u did, u were unlucky and since there's no pity this cycle will repeat until you get lucky

The boss drop chance for Kikoku is 0.5% per kill, with no pity system.
.5% = 99.95% chance you DON'T get it every single time you fight the boss. since there's no pity the rate is disproportionate to the time spent on killing the boss since you can't add the % up the same way u do addition with whole numbers.
the time u spend trying to get kikoku for ase could be spent getting every feature ase offers for free mind u

pika goro and suna scaling is very high, goro can still do high dmg if they wanted especially in a team setting, pika still dominates pve and now it's entered pvp as top rookie because of how good lunge has become and the extra stun on light kick making light flight true again, and as for hie it still has one of the highest scaling dmg in the game it just doesn't have a status effect like burn dmg to top it off like mera, venom and magu

infs don't rlly matter anymore but yeah, splitting sea could probably be stacked with a macro
it had 5 block breakers and most of the kit extended
the e can't break block for the same reason hiken wouldn't be able too
it's an instant free skill
because u can just hold it and then break their block after they try to parry
every move except the homing sharks yeah
lol
i suggested that to pho he didn't add that either
it's the same start up as hiken just much more obvious
