How confidence works
Confidence is count-driven, not human-adjusted. We never override a band to make an item look more or less certain; the trade count decides.
Reliable
1,000+ trades seen. Value is tight and the range is narrow (around ±10%). These numbers don't swing much run to run.
Medium confidence
200–999 trades. Value is reasonable but the range is wider (around ±15–20%). Still directionally right.
Low confidence
Under 200 trades. The value is still shown, but the range is wide (around ±30–40%). Treat the number as a ballpark.
Why exclusives can be under-sampled
Top-tier exclusives (Marine Cap, the Valkyrie line) trade rarely and mostly off-market. Our public-offer data may not capture the true value. We flag this visibly and err on the side of showing the range over a single number.
How to read a value range
Every value has a low-high range beneath it. On high-confidence items this range is tight; on low-confidence items it's wide. Always look at the range, not just the point estimate.
What to do when a number looks wrong
Two paths: run /suggest in the Discord server with proof screenshots (if the community votes yes, it feeds the solver), or wait for more trades to come in so the number self-corrects.
