How to Price-Check Items in GPO (2026 Guide)
Last updated: 2026-04-18
Price-checking in Grand Piece Online is tricky because there's no official value list. Values shift weekly and sometimes daily during events. Here's how to do it properly.
Step 1 — look up each item individually
Use our calculator or search by name / shortcut. Every value comes with:
- A point estimate (e.g. "71,000")
- A confidence range (e.g. "63K–79K")
- A confidence flag — green = high, yellow = medium, orange LOW DATA = treat as a rough estimate
- A demand label (Terrible / Low / Normal / High / Amazing)
If an item is flagged LOW DATA, don't use our number as your only source — cross-check with the community.
Step 2 — calculate the full trade
Use our Calculator tab. Add items to "You" and "Them" sides. The center pill tells you WIN / FAIR / LOSE:
- WIN — you're receiving more value than you're giving
- FAIR — value ranges overlap (within ~8%)
- LOSE — you're giving more than you receive
Step 3 — cross-check community sources
Even with 1M+ trade messages, we can be wrong — especially for thin-trade Exclusives (Marine Cap, Cool Shades, Marine Cape) that mostly trade via DM. Cross-check with:
- Pinned value lists in the GPO Trade Hub Discord
- Fandom wiki value tables
- Other community value sites (progameguides, game.guide, etc.)
If two sources disagree by <10%, trust ours. If they disagree by 30%+, lean toward community consensus.
Step 4 — spot scam ratios
Our solver auto-rejects the obvious ones but players still send scam offers:
- Cross-tier 1:1 — "1 PCC for 1 ASB" (Collectable for Legendary) is always a scam
- Unpaired prestige — accepting a prestige item without its natural pair (PFL without PIRB, or PCC without sweeteners)
- Adds never shown — "and adds" is meaningful only when specified; if they say "PFL + adds" without clarifying, assume minimum adds
- Urgency pressure — "fast trade" / "leaving in 5 min" is always a manipulation tactic
