GPO Values FAQ

Answers to common questions about gpovalues.com, Grand Piece Online trading, and how our math-driven value system works.

Methodology and calculator behavior

How are GPO values calculated?

Every value on gpovalues.com is derived from observed Discord trade messages, about a million parsed trade offers across seven community channels. We use a statistical solver (Dijkstra ratio chain, iterative weighted-median bundle re-valuation, and two-window time decay) anchored at Mythical Fruit Chest = 10,000. Full method at legal/methodology.

How often are values updated?

Our pipeline runs daily. Price history snapshots capture each day; the short-window solver (12-hour half-life) responds to fresh market moves within hours for active items.

What's the anchor unit on this site?

Every value is measured relative to Mythical Fruit Chest = 10,000 value points. So PCC at 3,000,000 means PCC is worth about 300 Mythical Fruit Chests.

How are 'Adds' priced?

Our solver learns the typical value of +Adds from paired trades that differ only by the presence of adds. Adds scale with trade tier: roughly 1,500 for low-tier trades, up to 250,000 for prestige-tier trades.

Can I trust scam-flagged trades?

We auto-drop pure 1:1 trades across two or more rarity tiers (Collectable for Rare, for example) unless compensating mods are specified. These are almost always scam lowballs. See how to spot GPO trade scams.

Why are my values different from other sites?

Different sites use different anchor units. We use MFC = 10,000; some sites use MFC = 4,000 (divide ours by 2.5 to compare). Methodology also differs: we're math-only, while most competitors are hand-curated.

Reading the values

Why does Marine Cap show lower than community consensus?

Exclusive-tier items (Marine Cap, Marine Cape, Cool Shades) mostly trade privately via DM or invite-only channels, so our public-channel parser can't see those trades. Community feel sits above our math-only number, which is why we flag these with low confidence or widened ranges.

What does low data mean?

An item with fewer than 200 observed trades in the window gets a low-confidence badge. Treat the listed value as a rough estimate rather than a precise price; real value could swing ±30% day to day. See how confidence works.

Which items rise fastest after an update?

Items with very low drop rates tend to rise as supply depletes. Items re-released or buffed in an update often fall. Check the beginner's trading guide.

Trading terminology

What is PCC in GPO?

PCC stands for Prestige Candy Cane, a Collectable prestige-tier sword released during the 1st Anniversary event. See our full guide, what is PCC in GPO.

What does WFL mean?

WFL means Win / Fair / Lose, community shorthand for evaluating whether a trade is in your favor. The calculator's verdict pill shows this automatically: win means you're gaining value, fair means the value ranges overlap, lose means you're giving up more than you receive.

About the site

Is gpovalues.com official?

No. This is an unofficial fan site, not affiliated with Grand Quest Games, Roblox Corporation, or the official GPO development team. All item names and artwork remain the property of their respective owners.

Can I use your data in my own tool?

Yes. Every item is available as a free JSON API with no key required for basic reads. See "API (items)" in the footer.

How do I report an incorrect value?

Join our Discord and flag the item; we'll show you the specific trades producing the number. If community consensus strongly disagrees with ours, we investigate parsing errors or missing channels.

Do you store my data?

No accounts, no tracking cookies. Request logs rotate every 72 hours. See privacy policy.

Using this site

Why did a value change?

Values recalculate from fresh scrapes. A value typically moves because trade volume shifted, a new event dropped, or enough new trades converged on a new number. See the changes page for recent movements.

Are these completed trades or offers?

Observed offers, what people are posting in trade channels. Not all offers close. We dedupe aggressively and filter obvious scams (1:1 cross-tier, bots), but these are still offers, not guaranteed market prices.

How do I add a trade I saw?

Run /suggest in the Discord server with proof screenshots. Community votes approve submissions (3 or more yes votes at a 1.5x ratio), and approved suggestions feed directly into the solver. See bot commands.

Why is there no hand-tuned number?

"This is what I think it's worth" values drift based on whoever edits them. Math-only values move only when the data moves, and every number is reproducible from the same inputs.

Can I build a trade I see elsewhere?

Paste the item names into the calculator search, or use the quick-add chips on the homepage. Natural language like "PCC for PFL" works too.
